I hope this wakes you up.
Hi guys,
Trust you’re doing good. I’m doing well too, AlhamduliLlah. I know this is coming late, I'm sorry about that. It’s still Aleem’s compendium. I hope last week was great. I can not describe how mine went; it’s a mixed feeling. But, AlhamduliLlah ‘ala Kulli Haal.
Let us ride into this week's episode by sharing one of my fantastic experiences and short thought-provoking lines of a poem.

Bee Venom!
As an unqualified Apiarist, on the evening of last week's Thursday, while coming back from work, I branched at a grocery shop to get some fruits. Suddenly, I spotted honey bees swirling around the pineapple. The little skills I learned from my Dad caught me up and I started strategizing on how to catch some of the bees.
Hey, you! What’s the bee for? Yeah, the honeybee has a lot of health benefits and is used as a natural treatment for different ailments. My Dad is a qualified Apiarist and I have since learned some ways of using bee venom for some ailments most especially for immune boosters. So, this is part of what always motivates me anytime I saw a swarm of bees. This last incident was the second time I pestered for honeybee at a grocery shop. The former one happened at Kofo Abayomi VI, Lagos.
To cut the story short, I was able to catch two from the swamp. It cut my family unaware and my kids were like what is this Abu Mu’adh? While coming home I was already stressed. I had a mild headache and a little bit of tiredness. I took the two bees' venom and after a while got rejuvenated. It wasn't surprising because Allah has already informed us about the honeybee and its benefits in the Qur’an and also some narrations in the Sunnah of the Prophet (ﷺ) pointing to the benefit of honey.
Allah ‘Azza wa Jal Said:
وَأَوْحَىٰ رَبُّكَ إِلَى ٱلنَّحْلِ أَنِ ٱتَّخِذِى مِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًۭا وَمِنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ وَمِمَّا يَعْرِشُونَ
And your Lord inspired the bees: “Make ˹your˺ homes in the mountains, the trees, and in what people construct, (16:68)
and feed from ˹the flower of˺ any fruit ˹you please˺ and follow the ways your Lord has made easy for you.” From their bellies comes forth liquid of varying colours, in which there is healing for people. Surely in this is a sign for those who reflect. (16:69)
Lessons
1. Strive for what’s going to benefit you and don’t be relaxed. I know from my experience that bee venom is good for boosting the immune system. I summoned the courage to go for it. I took the venom and Allah used it as a means of getting rejuvenated.
2. Do you know honeybees die a while after they release the venom? Yeah, they can’t survive some moment after the release no matter how agile they were before releasing the venom. Only Allah knows how this happens.
3. Honeybees are a wonderful creation of Allah. Start your reflection about it by reading and understanding the verses above. Implement the verses by also using one of the honeybees' products for the treatment and adhering to the fact that Allah mentioned that there’s healing in it for people.
I hope this wakes you up
When are you going to focus on yourself?
I hope you know you came here alone
I hope you know you will be buried alone
I hope you know you will be raised alone
I hope you know you will be asked alone
I hope this verse wakes you up from your snooze
I hope it makes you focus on yourself
19:95
وَكُلُّهُمْ ءَاتِيهِ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ فَرْدًا
And each of them will return to Him on the Day of Judgment all alone.
